We are Currently Hiring Warehouse & Distribution Planner
Duties Include:
Logging jobs to Groupage sheets
Planning consolidation of import & export loads for trailers
Preparing paperwork for loads, including CMRs, Delivery Notes etc.
Creating trans-shipping sheets
Managing stock levels in warehouse
Liaising with workshop for vehicle / trailer maintenance
Updating worksheets & customer portals
Ensure all telephone calls / e-mails are answered in a timely fashion.
Ensure customers are given regular updates on the progress of their bookings
Monitoring collections / deliveries ensuring they are on time
Assisting in day-to-day planning
Advising clients and team members of any delays etc
Aiding in the resolution of any issues from customers & suppliers.
Updating the company Fleet Management System
Any additional tasks as required by the General Manager
Essential:
Excellent written and communication skills
Highly organised, accurate and strong attention to detail
Previous knowledge & experience of Air Freight and Road Freight Sectors
Flexible approach to working hours
Confident telephone manner
Strong computer skills with a sound knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Ability to work both independently and as a team;
Ability to prioritise work and to meet strict deadlines
Own Transport to get to work is essential
Good sense of humour
Salary:
£24,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experinece
Additional bonuses based on performance
1 month in hand salary paid into the bank by BACS on the 25th of each month
