Alcaline UK Limited is an International haulage company offering Just in time Solutions and Expedite Services throughout Europe.
As Brexit negotiations enter a critical phase Alcaline UK would like to assure all our customers that we are preparing for any eventualities including a no deal scenario.
With a UK fleet of over 90 vehicles, we have applied for the relevant ECMT International Haulage Permits which will allow us to continue to carry out international journeys through the EU and EEA.Alcaline have successfully applied for a Customs Comprehensive Guarantee (CCG) to facilitate our approval under the Customs Freight Simplified Process (CFSP).
We are therefore confident that import Customs formalities can, largely, be divorced from the physical movement of goods and that we can maintain supply chains similar to today. We are also in the advanced stages of obtaining our own bonded warehouse to assist with the additional customs processes Brexit could bring.
The company have also invested heavily in providing alternative methods of Transport to our customer base. We have purchased a Helicopter with (IFR) capability, capable of carrying up to 450kg / 1.2 cubic meters of freight. This is primarily aimed at providing urgent & Express means of transport for low volume production material for the automotive and pharmaceutical sector; however, this service can provide assistance for any industry where time is critical.
This service will be fully operational and available for booking from 1st February 2019.As well as providing Air Freight solutions, Alcaline UK also have an EU based subsidiary within the Alcaline group of companies who have 120 of their own EU registered vehicles.As a company, the Alcaline group of companies are prepared for every possible eventuality that Brexit could bring.
